Using Firefox is one of the best ways to prevent spyware. And it is free. Since Firefox has far fewer users than Internet Explorer, most malware creators don’t bother with making spyware for it. They want to get the most bang for their buck and effort. So, since much less malware for Firefox on the internet, then Firefox is a very simple, surefire, and free way to prevent most spyware.

I’m very sorry to disappoint you, but firefox if far to be the safest browser in the block, simply is the safest that look like IE but it got a few security issues anyway.
So far the safest ever browser is Opera 🙂

You may be right, Opera might be the safest browser. But Firefox is safer than Internet Explorer and I’m trying to move people in that direction at least. Thank you for your suggestion. I will look into it.
