Bleeping Computer is a wonderful site, run by dedicated, intelligent, and knowledgeable volunteers. Excuse my colloquialism, which probably also dates me, but it blows me away. The volunteers at Bleeping Computer help people with computer problems for free and have tons of helpful and interesting content on their site, for both the newbie computer user and the more experienced tech. If you have malware, they’ll help you get rid of it for free. If you want general or more specialized computer knowledge, they have tons of articles, forums, blogs. They seem too good to be true, but there they are.

I found a great site with all sorts of information about viruses and antiviruses called Virus.gr. The website is from Greece and among many other valuable resources has free virus scans and comparative tests that rank antivirus programs.

According to Virus. gr, the best from recent testing is a little known antivirus program called G Data from a company in Bochum, Germany. Second is F-secure.
